I was looking through random videos on youtube and I found a clip of the Matrix where Morpheus offers Neo two piils.

there is actually a famous philisophical question this is based on, the idea is would you take a pill that would let you stare at a tree all day every day for the rest of your life and you would always feel ecstatic about it, or would you continue your life as it is
I think that clip was really inteststing. I am currently taking Intro to Decision Making here at Stanford this summer and we use many of the techniques described in class. For example, we use Bayes' theorem when calculating the probabliity of various uncertainties. Overall, the decision making lecture related very well to one of my other classes.
