Perception

I have a question:

Do we perceive information even when we do not have the feeling of perceiving?

we do to some degree, like we tend to have an idea of our surounding without conciously identifying it; such as how we know what time of day it is by the position of the sun without thinking about it.

I believe that we always percieve things, even when we don't mean to. I think that is part of what makes us human. if we did not percieve what was happening in the world around us, would we be able to interact with others in the same way. Probably not, becasue we would live in our own bubble world (the movie "Bubble Boy"). but because we percieve what happens in the world, then we are able to make concious decisions and assess our surrondings.
