Mouse Brains.

cool website.... www.brainatlas.org

Scientists have mapped out some of the areas of specific genes in mice brains and how they are related to function. Very cool. I am touring the lab when I get back home, which will be really interesting after having taken two Psychology classes!

actually i worked in a lab this past summer where a good deal of neuroscience involving mice was performed, they are finding a lot of strange connections between brain chemicals and genetic growth, such as a certain gene which helps process methionene when removed leads to mice being born with tails that have crooks in them

So I just read the first 20 of over 200 genes involved in the retrohippocampal region of the brain, and I am wondering if this could be used for gene therapy of sorts.
