Artificial intelliegence

I thought this was an interesting interview. Mark Meadows, researcher for the Stanford Reserach Institute on Artificial Intelligence, talks about artificial intelligence, how it relates to psychology, and how AI will change and develop in the future.

Don't we already have robots with artificial intelligence?? Countires such as South Korea have stated that they plan to have a robot in every household in the next ten years. I think that this artificial intelligence will just become more and more advanced in the coming years.

Take a look at the I Robot video I posted, it's actually pretty scary. I always thought "Oh, it's just a movie." I never expected it to come true. I remember discussing in class whether or not A.I. programs would eventually be able to express emotions. Interesting...

IRobot is a very interesting movie. Although it is mostly overdone and exaggerated, there is the question of how far humans will take A.I. Will we allow robots and computers to develop their own individual thinking or allow humans to have control over them? It's an interesting question...

the movie IRobot is based on the book caves of steel by isaac asimov...I really suggest reading Asimov if you're interested in AI.
